Makayla is a theatre actor from London and has recently graduated from the University of Windsor with a BFA in acting. During her time in university, Makayla took on the roles of Olivia in Twelfth Night and Mercurio in Romeo & Juliet as well as various roles in a production of 365 Days/365 Plays. Makayla has been doing theatre for most of her life and this will be her first performance on the Palace stage and she is very excited and grateful to be working with this cast and crew on such an amazing show. Makayla was initially drawn to this show for its perspective into the mind of a teenager on the spectrum and how they interact with the world around them. Makayla is also intrigued by the collaborative effort that comes with this show. A play such as this one is pulled off with the right amount of trust and vulnerability creating a uniquely intimate experience for the audience.
